Hi my name is Sisi and I have a 7 month old female bunny, we got her at the pet store when she was two months old. My former lovable bunny passed that day because I think we got him neutered and I still to this day are not sure what caused it. He meant SO MUCH to my family and especially to me, at that time he was the only pet in the house so everyone really bonded with him. At 8 months I was in the living room with him and he started being REALLY aggressive towards me and I knew that was not like him so we got him neutered that day and he passed two days later at 3:00! I miss him SO much and I cry for him, that night my mom took me to the same pet store where we got Charlie(that was his name) and that’s when we discovered Ruby Jones(I came up with the name that night?) I was NOT in the mood to get another bunny, I was devastated but when I picked her up it was like I was in heaven. She hung on to me and didn’t let go so I knew she chose me, and then I chose her! We were meant to be, unfortunately she had gi stasis during Mother’s Day weekend this year and I was so depressed I begged my parents to let me take her to the vet so that night I prayed she wouldn’t die so the next morning we went to the vet and she had a little of gi and the vet had his own bunny so we were thankful and she got better! Now since she is 7 months I am SO scared to get her spayed and my parents won’t let me and they said I should spend as much time with her as I can but I know what is best for her and that is for her getting spayed. I really don’t want to risk her life on my decisions, and I need as much help from people as I can because she is SO special and NO ONE can replace either one of them!!

She will need to be spayed, you are right. Make sure the vet you take her to is a vet who has worked on rabbits hundreds if not thousands of times. Make sure you get pain medication to bring home for a few days, too

What happened after your boy was neutered? It is very uncommon for male rabbits to have problems with their neuter. It sounds more like something unrelated happened to cause his death. If that makes you feel any better.
