        Uh Oh

        Is this okay?

Bunz is laying down in her cage more than normal…She is now out of cage so I can keep a close eye on her

But is this normal, it is going for 1PM and Im just wondering if it has to do with time

        Or is this not normal?

Sometimes buns will just be in the mood for a lazy day. It’s fine as long as she is eating/drinking/pooping normally .

            Luna,

Yes she just drank a lot, she will eat when I refill her food/hay (right now lol) and she rarely poops which is her normal personality lol

It could be the heat if it’s getting hotter in your area. Wick is much more lazy since summer/hot temperatures rolled in.

Yes that could be it, Wick.

It is 36 degrees Celsius here (96.8 Fahrenheit)

                So hot!

I didn’t think it could get so hot in Newfoundland!

But bunnies do get a lot less active when it’s hot, so that’s a very plausible explanation.

Yes, the heat combined with the time of day would be a good reason for lounging around a lot. I hope you get some cooler temperatures soon. I also did not realise that it gets that so hot in that area.

We had a heatwave last week and the buns were laying around a lot more. As long as it’s laziness or chilling about as opposed to discomfort and lethargy, all is fine
