My family recently took in a stray kitten. After making sure she was healthy and free of worms and fleas, I introduced her to my two rabbits. Nico and the kitten are wonderful together. Cocoa however has been very aggressive. She violently lunged at the kitten, and is always in an aggressive stance if the kitten is in the room. I’m confused due to the fact that Cocoa has always gotten along well with our full grown cat Izzy. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I could do for them?

maybe it’s because the kitty is something new?
when did you get the adult cat? did you get her before you brought cocoa home? maybe it’s because the cat was already established there that she didn’t get freaked out over her.
i honestly have no idea though. my rabbit is just curious about the cats whenever they come in, but all of them raise their paws like they’re going to smack her, and ever since one of them actually hit her with their claws out and another stood over her and moved towards her neck, i’ve rarely let them in.

New friend. Youll want to try to bond the cat with the bun or you might always have this issue when the kitten is around Cocoa
