bunny LOVES his mom!!!

so my bunny fredrick is quite the character. he recently got neutered so for a few days he was ignoring me. but now he’s back to himself and i just wanted to share a few of his antics with all of you! first of all i’ll introduce him. he is (this is my guess!) a dutch mixed with blue eyed white. he was abandoned on a side road and we picked him up about a month ago. he has been so happy since! we think he’s about 2-3 years old and he’s probably the friendliest bunny i’ve ever met! he warmed up to me in only a few hours and now he runs the house!

without further ado, here’s some funny Fredrick antics:

-he loves to run after me when he knows i have treats or food just begging for what i have and if i don’t pay any attention to him he’ll stand up and put his paw on my leg. and when i give them to him, he acts like he’s never eaten before!! poor bunny, never gets any food!!! it’s not like he has hay in his litter box, his cage, AND a whole bag full beside his cage!

-if i sit on the ground and call him, he usually comes running (especially if i have food!) but most of the time when he gets close to me he suddenly acts uninterested in me, as if he didn’t REALLY want to see me. then sometimes he’ll casually lick me. [which continues onto the next thing he does]

-he LOVES! to give kisses and receive them. he’s a very affectionate bunny and always lets me know how much he loves me! he likes to lick my arms, my legs if i have on shorts, and especially my face. his favorite thing is to lick my nose and forehead when i lean down to talk to him and i think it’s just the cutest thing ever!

-he also likes to play with my cats. i have two female cats and he just thinks it’s so funny to chase them around!

-last but not least, this little sassy rabbit LOVES to be naughty. in fact he thinks it’s really funny to do things he shouldn’t. one of his favorite things to do is try hop onto my bed, where he knows he isn’t supposed to be. before, everytime he’d hop up onto it, i’d tell him no and put him in his cage for a small time out, and after that when i let him out he’d leave the area alone. now he likes to tease me by going by my bed and standing on his hind legs, acting like he’s gonna hop up. then when i see him, i say “hey! what are you doing?” and he just looks at me for about 5 seconds before he starts running and binkying. he seems to find it so hilarious that he tries it a few more times before just running around my living room being a happy bunny!!
