Hi Guys, So I only joined Binky Bunny yesterday and am loving the bunny community already.

I know I have been posting very much often and apologize for that but I meant to ask this

question last night. Is this normal, So yesterDAY she did not make any noise but at night

she makes this noise and it sounds like maybe snoring but a buzzing kind of noise?

Shes an extremely healthy rabbit so we are positive it doesnt have to do with

her health. We are just wondering

        Thanks everybunny

Wick used to snore when he slept whenever he was sleeping while cuddling with me. I don’t think he does it when he’s alone, but then again my ear isn’t right up against him. His snoring has lessened now, but there is only once instance I can recall where he was snoring in his hutch while I was falling asleep, so a snoring rabbit is possible. Also very cute.

If her breathing sounds normal (not wheezy) both while active and when resting, it’s likely she may just be more vocal at night time during peak-rabbit-activity hours. It could also be snoring.

This is a recording of Wick snoring/grunting when being cuddled with: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0zErnNzqWOc
          — Notably, this was when Wick was sick with his upper respiratory infection, so his nose was clogged (hence the sneezing at the end of the recording). The clogged nasal passages probably contributed a lot to Wick being “vocal” for the first few months.

Very cute. Although this isnt close to the sound she is making. She is making a buzzing-type sound. She seems fine and very.very active so she is fine.. I suppose different rabbit personalities have different snoring noises?

When Thor sleeps in loaf shape (legs tucked under, balled up) she will snore

For her it sounds a bit like a small squeak/buzz. High pitched and quiet. I’ve been assured it is not much to worry about, but it sure is cute!

Ever since I’ve had Cheeni she has snored. I got her when she was 6 months old and she is now almost 5!  It’s almost like a wimpering/soft snoring sort of sound, like she is in a deep sleep and dreaming
