        Hi again!

After trying variations of different types of bonding over the last month I am still having little progress with the bonding.
I am seeing that Geri my female house rabbit seems to be becoming more aggressive towards the new boy Shakespeare. When he is having his time to run around the apartment she becomes very agitated when he gets near her cage, chasing him up and down and trying to box or claw him through the bars…

I am starting to get nervous about putting them together as I am worried about the tension between them.

Does anyone have any similar experiences to this or advice?

        Thank you

I would put the buns in different rooms for now – out of sight. Then try pre bonding techniques, and then put both in the same room and see how they are then. Definitely don’t put them together until there is no aggression while they are neighbours.

Ok thank you for the advice, I am going on holiday for a few weeks so I will have them completely separate for that time and perhaps start afresh when I come back. I was just unsure if this is a sign that the bonding will never work.

It could go either way; just because they aren’t getting along yet It doesn’t mean they will never bond .

I actually have the same problem a little my male rabbit Irony keeps on moving his cage to my female rabbit Pepper and whenever he is able to move his cage to her cage he will nip or bit at her whenever he can. I am also in the middle of bonding my two rabbits and whenever they are together Irony lunges at Pepper and buts her the best he cans that happens quite a bit.
