Hi, i am a little worried about Hop. Hop is 6 and has eaten the same nuggets her whole life (she is an outdoor rabbit), but for about 2 days now, Hop hasn’t eaten her nuggets! She eats everything else we give her (grass, hay, banana, veg, ect ect), but when we call her for her tea, she just won’t eat it! She has been doing this since a couple of nights ago, but there cant be anything wrong with the nuggets because she has always eaten them before and they are the same as she has always had! Hop is running about the garden as usual. Me and Hop need HELP!!! xxx

You might be better off posting this in diet & care so more people see it My assumption tho would be she’s perhaps bored of them? If she’s eating everything else I wouldn’t think it would be teeth trouble but someone correct me if I’m wrong. Had the bag gone stale or anything?

How do you post it in diet & care? I’m new ?? That might be the answer, but just a few days ago, she was running to the cage whenever she heard them ‘tinkling’ in her bowl! The bag is good until 2018 (it’s not stale ahah) so I don’t know! Anyway we bought her these  hard corn on the cob and seedy things that hang on her cage, and she adores them, so at least she’s eaten today. xxx

I moved your thread to the Diet&Care section, as suggested by Sarah.

Sometimes a dental issue can manifest as a refusal to eat pellets, although it’s more common that a dental bun refuses hay. How does her poop look?

I don’t recommend the corn and seed treats, corn can cause blockages and seed is unsuitable. She will not starve or get ill from not having pellets for a few days, however as bam mentioned, there may be an underlying health issue causing her to refuse pellets such as teeth issues. It’s best to have her checked out by a vet. Otherwise you could try to buy a new bag of the pellets and see if it makes a difference.
