So I just fed my rabbit and he didn’t come over for his food, he was flopped on his side and then layed on his stomach with one of his back legs to the side of him, he looks like he’s in a deep sleep but keeps moving like he can’t get comfy, is this gas? What can I do to help? It’s night here and we don’t have any emergency vets near to us!

While the vet would be preferred if it is gas it’s important to keep him hydrated so get a syringe (my Walmart pharmacy gives them away free for babu medication) and force your bun to drink. It could sometimes be a bad idea to give them food since its currently unknown the situation he’s having but definitely keep hydrated, syringe feed him water every couple hours I’d say

And then car rides or bouncing his hind legs up and down (though car rides are better I think?) Can help break up the gas and may ease discomfort

Try encouraging food by giving him banana or favorite fruit

And get him to vet asap

He seems fine this morning he’d ate his pellets and ran around for his breakfast as normal, ate that and then ate abit of hay, I’m going to keep an eye on him and see if he poops or not.
