I feel like a psycho since I have posted so much about my poor bunny going through GI stasis (for the second time ever and barely 1 year old ) Anyways, long story short she SEEMS better. She has been going through GI for 12 days now and on day 10 or 11 she seemed better by pooping a little and eating/drinking a little. The vet I found who was amazing, prescribed her with Cisapride, Metacam and subcutaneous IV for 5 days straight. She is finally eating small amounts of hay, drinking (some) water, and pooping. Her poop however, is mushy and sometimes globs of poop, but overall round shaped just mushy and wet. She is still pretty lethargic from time to time also. She has barely been on the meds for 4 days now though.

Is this normal? Is her poop supposed to be a little wet and mushy after an intense GI hit or is this a sign of her regressing? I understand she’s basically been holding in poop for 10 days and it’s finally getting released, but I cannot help but worry a little still. I just want her to be healthy and back to her “hoppy” happy self  Thank you!

It’s ok, keep giving him his medicines and keep his little butt and litter clean during this phase. Make sure she drinks plenty to balance out the globs. It’s smelly and bad to see but it’s a very good sign!!
