Hi everybun! I’m new to this forum and I figured I could get some good information, stories, advise ect on here. So my buns name is Dudley, he is a 1 year old broken chesnut mini lop. I adopted him about four months ago! Actually I already have a question for everyone. I see so many people saying how affectionate and interested their bunny is in them
And we’ll…Dudley is not. Ha! I was hoping for a little more cuddles but he really doesn’t like to be near me he likes to do his own thing. Anyone else have buns like this? Is it normal behavior?

My bun is pretty independent. Some days he’s super interested in me and he giving me licks on the face ,lays on my stomach for hours, etc (but won’t let me pick him up) and other days (about 80% of the days) he likes doing his own thing and won’t come near me. It is normal behaviour for some rabbits some just don’t like to be bothered by humans it’s just there personality and some rabbits are super attached to there human mom or Dad.

Aw well at least you get some attention Dudley had never licked me. And if I run his head he bites me after but I’m not sure if he didn’t like it or didn’t want me to stop ?

Hi! i’m pretty new here too. welcome! one bun i have had since easter and the other about a month after that, so not to long.

My Bunny Cash loves attention from me, he will come to me and i pick him up, he loves to be petted and scratched and will stand up to be petted. he can get anxious a little but it’s very rare. he licks *grooms me and my son.

now my Shadow is a little less interested in giving loves, he does not like to be picked up but will take treats from me. especially banana. he will play a little when i toss the bell balls around. he generally is just happy not being bothered. i have tried lol he has not licked me or my son yet but i will keep trying lol so just keep trying!

so i think they all are different and maybe with time your bun eventually will come around
