So my wife and mom and friend were painting our living room all day today while I was at work and Lux is in the living room. The paint was no voc and low odor. It smells like paint but not terrible. She looks and and is moving totally fine. Everything going to be ok? They were painting for 8 hours

While she probably isn’t in immediate danger, the fumes could be harmful-bunnies have much more sensitive noses than humans. I would also be concerned about possible ingestion of paint. If you can, I would remove Lux from the newly painted area for several days, and try to circulate fresh air.

Even if it’s zero voc? Also Lux isn’t free roaming she will be in her cage the next two days while we finish up. I know she will be mad at me for
Not letting her out to play but need everything to dry. We had windows open for a while.

They say young children/babies shouldn’t sleep in a newly painted room so I wouldn’t leave an animal too either. The fumes would be too much for a bunny’s sensitive nose and strong smells can make them feel frightened.
