  hello, i am new to bunny companionship as well as this site. my name is louise and my buns name is slush, slush was introduced to me this week as an 11 week old but today we took him for his vaccines and was given his paperwork, with his d.o.b, and it turns out hes a little younger at two months.
  
  I feel very lucky as he has binkied a few times, flopped once, and though today had his vaccines at the vet recovered quickly and is out of his cage and coming for little pets. though i work full time i have spent every free moment with this new love of my life. he is quite the character and settling in very well.
  
  i look forward to getting to know some people here and there bunnies too.
  
  i am on my phone and will share pictures when i am able

  You must be in England, We don’t have any rabbit diseases in the US that we need to vaccinate against.

  thank you all, i am english, slush is a lop (unsure what sort of lop at this moment in time) he is grey and white so we called him slush after the snow that starts to melt. and its all… slushie..
  
  the disease protection is more for outdoors rabbits slush will be primarily indoors but i would like to introduce him to the outside at some point just so he isnt refined to the indoors.

  Hi! Slush is a pretty name! In Europe it’s best to have your bun vaccinated because otherwise it’s not safe to forage outside. I have my bun vaccinated, because he loves it when I pick dandelion and yarrow and plantain for him.

  If you took him to the vet for vaccinations, it’s possible that the vet estimated his age for the paperwork. If you know the actual birth date you can call the vet and just have it changed in his file
