My rabbit, Bunny, has constant attention and she is always looking for more but recently she has started stomping then running immediately after. When she does it in her eyes she looks very alarmed and I understand that stomping is often used to show fear or anger but she calms very quickly after I stroke her and is her purring happy self… until I stop and it’s the same cycle all over.
I can send pictures of while and after stroking her if that will help? Is she looking for attention or is it something different, thanks.

I would guess that she is alarmed by something and is running off to hide. Rabbits can get scared by lots of things us hoomans don’t even notice. Thor sometimes thumps for what I think is no reason at all. It is good that she calms down quickly. It helps to go over to pet them, if you are calm then they know there is nothing to worry about.

How often does she do the stomping thing? Is it at a particular time of day or in a particular part of the house?
