I’ve got a very intelligent bunny, he’s already learned tons of tricks however the one that I can’t figure out how to teach him is fetch. Has anyone successfuly taught their bunnies how to play fetch? If so could you possibly post a step by step guide on how to teach them to do it. Also any other less well known tricks would be useful – i’m running out of imagination on other ways to keep him mentally stimulated! Many thanks

Eh, yes but no? I think catch or toss is a better word for my buns. I had one bun when I was younger who would roll YoYos around with me. I would roll it to him, he would roll it back My three buns now enjoy ball shaped toys so Ill roll the ball to them, and theyll roll it back, sometimes lol. Sometimes they also just roll the balls around, or try to chew on them

My bun has taught me to play fetch

Mostly, she will toss or hand her toys to me, then wait for me to bring them back to her. She especially loves toys that make noise such as jingle bells and keys

Aw haha. But i’ve seen YouTube videos where the bun literally plays fetch like a dog. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BQezfT7ErCg – like this. I just can’t figure out how to train him to do it though!!

Olly is my Guide Bunny/Assistant, he won’t play fetch, but if I drop anything he will pick it up and bring it to me, also he brings the post, remember, lol a bunny teaches you, not you teach bunny. LOL
