Has anyone used KeriCure Pet Liquid Bandage for sore hocks?

One of my rabbits got sore hocks, and while one foot healed fast and easy, he WILL NOT leave the other one alone! He licks and picks until it is inflamed and even bleeding, and I cannot get him to stop. I have been to the vet 3 separate times for this one foot and they only have prescribed Metacam and Calendula cream, which don’t seem to be enough. Any tips??

I know some people have used New Skin on their buns, but it is toxic and he already chews the crap out of the sore spot… I came across this KeriCure Liquid Bandage for pets, but I haven’t seen it on any rabbit forums, has anyone tried it?

        Thanks!!

I’ve never heard of this. I’ve used New Skin before.

What is his flooring like? I’ve had great success with good quality memory foam bath mats.

He has memory foam under a custom made organic cotton/silk cover (he eats the foam), and on top of carpet.

I have taken great care to give him the least abrasive and most comfy flooring possible, while also trying to keep him away from ingesting toxic materials, like foam and New Skin.

I have also given him a million toys, treats, etc to try to distract him from his foot, but to no avail.

The real problem is that he picks at his foot so consistently that he will not let it heal
