OK Humans, Olly here, so a human came and said to my Mummy I was very big, she said. “Oh yes Olly you are big, you are part Flemish Giant, more Flemish giant than Lion head, no wonder you are so big, yes he’s Flemish Giant, I had one.”

Mummy has noticed for a while that when I use my tray that I’m not sitting comfortably, I have my front paws in front and just my bottom in my tray or doing some balancing act.

What size Litter tray do I need because I’m a big bunny? Mummy would like me to have a nice new big tray, does she have to measure me up?

I had the same problem but i had a netherland dwarf and his litter tray was 3x his size so i don’t think the litter pans the problem so long as he does use it. What type of litter pan do you currently use? if you would like, I have used kitty litter pans or even storage containers as litter boxes if you think that would be more comfortable.

Always get a litter box where the whole bunny can fit in it, and still have a little extra room

Yes, a bigger tray does sound bes, especially since he doesn’t fit. It’s hard to say exact measurements. But you could always take measurements of your current tray, and add half again along each side. Eg if the pan is 50cm x 34cm, you would look for a new pan about 75cm x 41cm.

I think it’s best that not only all of him fits in the pan, but he has a little bit of room to move around as well.
