Got up this morning and Clover went into her usual circling and binkying routine.  I get to the middle of the floor. when Clover jumps up in my recliner and then she LAUNCHES herself at my chest.  I’m 3 feet away from her when she goes airborne.  She hits me at the level of my collarbone, sideways, and I manage to catch her (A miracle in and of itself, since I don’t have my glasses on and there’s not even a hint of coffee in my veins).  She proceeds to huff and then bury her face into the crook of my arm, licking every bit of flesh she can reach while grunting in what I’m guessing is a happy rabbit tone.

I’m pretty sure this rabbit loves me, but there’s no way this is normal rabbit behavior.  Is it?

It does sound a little bit unorthodox, but not like sth is wrong with her. Bam kan go airborne when there’s food involved. The leaps he can make are astonishing, but it only happens when the hoomin is holding sth really really jumpworthy

is clover spayed yet. If not she could be acting hormonally to you. my bun poppy does that to me sometimes but she sometimes gets carried away and takes a chomp of me.

No food involved, and no, she’s not spayed yet.  Working on that as we speak.  Had a heck of a time keeping her nose out of my shredded wheat as well.  Standing in my lap going, “Whatcha got there?”

For some reason, this just sounds like Clover to me.
Re: the shreddies, Chewie goes nuts for them. When mom was visiting he would get on her lap if she happened to be holding a bowl and would headbutt her chin or bowl or spoon-hand while she was eating, hoping something would fall out for him. LOL

It does, doesn’t it?  She seems determined to be an atypical rabbit.  I love it.  And I can totally see Chewie doing that.  “Pardon me, hooman slave, clearly you’ve forgotten that everything in the house belongs to me!”

Do you think she could be reacting to Dawns hormones at the moment?
                      Is Dawn still nesting?

I don’t know?  Dawns false preggy lasted about a day and a half.  She spent 36 hours making herself an awesome nest/rabbit fort, and then abandoned it and went back to being herself.

As for Clover, I think I’m giving up trying understand why she does what she does, lol.  I AM going to try and catch some of it on film.  Hard to believe some of her antics without visual proof.  I don’t believe half of it, and I see it in person.

I took her to the kids library last week, and she spent an hour laying on her bunny blanket on top of the checkout desk, with her eyes half closed as she accepted the worship of the little hoomans as her due.
