My girl was spayed in mid February this year and her tummy hair still has not grown back. There is a tuft of hair along the spay scar but then it is naked all around that. She just finished a shedding cycle recently. Wondering if this hair will ever grow back!

It will grow back, slowly. Once the molting is over, the hair regrows slower, especially if a lot was shaven to get a clear access to the area that was surgically treated Don’t worry!

I remember this happened with Gina.Jenny’s Gina or Jenny, possibly both. It took a long time before they got their belly fur back post spay. As Michelle says, the hair grows back slower when they’re not in a molt. Rabbits don’t have continuous hair growth like humans do.
