  Woke up Tuesday and she had passed thru the night. She had kidney failure. She was eating and drinking Monday night but I had this weird feeling. I laid on the floor with her and snuggled for a long while. I kept kissing her head and telling her I loved her. Maybe she knew it was ok to let go. It was still a shock though. 11 yrs was a good long bunny life. I’ve been coming here close to10 yrs. I don’t post regular but any time I’ve had a question someone has always been here to help. I just wanted to say thanks.

  What a lovely long life Tonks lived with you. I know that she was loved and adored. Sending love and hugs-thank you for loving and caring for her right, even through her illness.
  I hope you will continue to post here if you feel up to it.

  Aw, Sweet Tonks. Im sorry for your loss, evansviillegirl. I hope her passing was peaceful too. It sounds as if she just slipped away. So glad you got some snuggle time with her the night before. xx

  I’m sorry I am so long in leaving my condolences here. I remember you and Tonks well and I am so sad to hear she has left for the Bridge.
  2017 seems to be a bad year for bunnies, as I’ve seen a lot of good friends say goodbye to their dear fluffs, and I too lost my beloved Pip in January. I hope that you are able to remember Tonks with smiles more than with tears and that a part of her will always be with you in your heart.
  Thinking of you and sending (((hugs))) to comfort you in your time of sorrow.
