I can repost this somewhere else if I need to. I just wasn’t sure which area this fit best. So I have 2 fixed male bunnies that have decided they hate each other. That’s a whole other issue though. Here is my question for now though. So they got in to eachothers space today and it looked like they latched on to each other. I got them separated pretty quick and gave them each a thorough look over. I can’t find any actual bite marks, but they are both very furry and I may be missing them. Neither are acting like they are hurt, classic bunny I know, but I am still worried. So does anyone have any tricks or tips to better find potential bite wounds?

I’ve heard of using a hair dryer (not on hot obv) to blow the fur around so you can get a better look at the skin.

Sometimes you can’t find the sores until they’ve scabbed over. Oftentimes there are no wounds because they have such thick fur, so they only manage to pull fur out. They can pull quite a bit of fur out during a scuffle. The most important parts to check are of course the facial area (rims of eyes, cheeks, ears) and the privates. They often go for the genitals (even if neutered).

Thanks for the hair dryer suggestion! I’m going to try that just to be safe. The hair flying I know is normal. But this is the first time they seemed to really just both grab on and not let go. Both are acting normal and eating, drinking and pooping normal today so I’m hopeful no one got injured. I would just rather be safe than sorry! Now to go see if you lovely people have any suggestions for getting them to get along! Thank you again!
