Hey i havent been in for awhile because of family illness. My dad got diagnosed with AML -leukemia in February. Life exceptancy 3-6 months 8 at the most. Monday May 1, he got sent to the hospital possible pneumonia and crazy high levels of white blood cells. He was sent that night to Pittsburgh where they had a hard time stablizing him, the next day it was one blow after another, what finally did him in was his bowel ruptured sometime over the weekend the cancer did not take him but the infection did. He went fast and is no longer suffering, He just celebrated his 65th birthday on Saturday April 29, we had a party on Sunday. Last week was the worst week of my life, my bunnies knew i was upset they all wanted my attention and still do. I still find it amazing how they “know” when you really need them most. I miss my dad terribly and i know time heals but i thank my bunnies for making the pain a bit more bearable.

        Thanks for listening

I’m sorry to hear you lost your dad. I know your buns won’t make everything feel ok, but you’re right in that they will give you plenty of love and comfort/support.

I’m sorry to head about your day. It is painful when our loved ones die. It is also painful to watch them suffer. My mom died of cancer. She was living with me at the time. Cancer is wretched – so are it’s effects. I hope you are able to find peace and comfort.
