        Hi all!

First post, have found this site so useful in the early days of bun research/adoption. After a lot of thought my partner and I adopted Skittles from our local PetsAtHome (UK) recently – he just looked so unhappy there we couldn’t leave him!

In fairness the pet shop were mostly very good at explaining his history and how he came to be there, but they did not really know his breed at all – we think he might be a Netherlands dwarf cross (he has little ears but he’s also quite a big boy!) Any ideas what other type

…he could be? He has quite distinct markings around his head and an amberish spot at the back of his neck.

        Any help appreciated

Oh funny fellow! He’s cute! He does have little dwarf like ears.
Everything about his body (apart from the ears) looks a lot like the UK dwarf lops (called Mini lop in the US) but those ears… I definitely think he is a mix of some kind. As to his markings and the amber spot at back of the neck, he’s what is called Chestnut Agouti. Its the colouring like the wild rabbits have.
