My rabbit patch has a habit of whimpering. I know they say rabbits can whimper when they don’t want you touching them but Patch does it even when she is in a really relaxed position and I’m smoothing her, or when she nudges me for attention. She does it when she’s having a cuddle and show signs of being happy. It’s really odd behaviour. She rarely chews things but in the last week has got into the habit of jumping on the sofa and trying to dig. She is a house rabbit and get full run if he house all day. There is no way she is pregnant as she hasn’t been around male rabbits and I don’t think she is nesting because her whimpering has been going on for quite a while now( due to be spayed at the end of the month). Is she just a nervous rabbit or am I doing something wrong? Please help as I’m starting to get a little concerned.

        Thanks ?

If she’s happy, well-fed and healthy it can be she is just a very vocal bunny!
