Thought this would be a fun thread  How do you celebrate your bunny’s birthdays?  (Or if birthday is unknown, the anniversary that you got them)?

Peanut and Buttercup will be one in August and I plan on treating them with new toys and maybe a little fruit. Peanut likes strawberry. Buttercup’s never tried it because Peanut ate her piece  Maybe I’ll give them some carrot as I know they both like it and their tummies tolerate it well.

With most of ours being rescues, we celebrate gotcha days, with whatever is freshest and yummiest looking at the local market that day..

A favorite bigger toy or something (Winter got a bed last time), and then whatever looks good at the store like GJ with a little banana.

Olaf always gets a new set of baby keys on his birthday. I usually replace his usual handful of greens with a proper chopped salad (greens, carrots, papaya, dandelions) and maybe a dried banana chip. I just estimated his birthday based on his supposed age when I adopted him. Gotcha Day is a similar affair.

I want to get a daisy crown for Buttercup and a top hat for Peanut but my partner thinks that’s crazy

Since there’s always something bad happening and we never know if we’ll get to the next b-day, Kuro’s birthdays (well… estimated birthdays) and gotcha-days are serious business! This birthday (after he almost-died for the umpteenth time, but got very close) he got two new dried grass homes, a new water bottle, a spiffy new wooden hay rack and a mighty buffet consisting of chicory, basil, mint, parsley and -omg omg- BANANA! (plus a new hair brush and a nail trim but he doesn’t like to talk about that)

Sounds like he is spoilt rotten!  My Mum thinks I spoil my rabbits but I just love treating them…

You guys are giving me great ideas for Thor’s first birthday! We estimate it’s sometime this July…

If spoiling my bun makes me happy too then I’d say we are both spoiled and happy for it
