Hi, I’m from Indonesia. Srry if I makes mistakes with my English.

I brought home two bunnies about a week ago.

A week before that, I bought a bunny for my son and through my mistake and lack of knowledge it died. I’m not sure why, maybe stress, maybe the lack of water, etc. I felt bad and somehow began to read more about bunnies.

Now, I have 2 bunnies live with me for a week now. They seem healthy, one is a bit fat, while the other one is smaller.

So far, I have this routine :
        1. Around 5-6 AM, I brought them to my front yard, where they run around and eat grass, etc. While I clean their box and put the hay in their box under the sun.
        2. 7AM-6PM, I put them in my back yard. -> me at work.
        3. 6PM-9PM, I put them in the box and then put the box in the living room.
        4. 9PM-5AM, I brought them to my bed room.

Is that too much moving places for them?

I notice that they don’t go out of their box when they’re in the living room. It only took them a minute or two before they decide to leave their box and have their little adventure when they’re out of the house. Lately they move around when they’re in my bed room although they stay in their box most of the time. They move around a lot when I brought them to my front yard, where I plant many things there. Unfortunately I don’t have fences and sometimes there are many cats pass by, so I only brought the bunnies there when I have the time to watch them.

I also want to ask, if they’re shaking, is it always means that they’re scared of something?

Introducing them to a new enviorment can be stressful. I would suggest leaving them in their house for a day to get comfortable. If there’s an age difference between your buns you have to spay and neuter them to prevent fights and accidental pregnancies. You must also bond them after a simple cooldown time.

So for now I would alter your schedule and instead if move them let them move themselves and explore otherwise they will see you as a threat and the scary person who moves them around to even scarier places.

I would also not let them outside if there’s not a secure place from predators like cats or birds as that’s even more terrifting.

Watch YouTube videos from 101Rabbits or Stormyrabbits as they have alot of good guides or look to the bunny information at the top of the page

            Thanks,

I let him/her stay on my room today, instead move him/her around.

Anyway, maybe I shouldn’t try to brought home another rabbit after my 1st failure. Perhaps you notice that I don’t say them, but him/her.

I feel terrible today, one of the bunnies died last night, with trace of diarrhea. I’m not sure why, maybe all the moving? Is it because he/she ate wrong plants? She/he ate flowers and various other plants. But she/he seemed okay at the evening. I probably relaxed too much after seeing them living okay for a week.
            .
I know that bunny better live with a companion, but I’m not sure if I should.

The other member of my family, gave many suggestion like put the rabbit on the cage. Not put him in the house, maybe the air con is too cold for him). Don’t pet him too much. Etc.
