I am searching for an XXL bunny castle. It is for my female giant Flemish. I would like it to be the bun safe untreated cardboard, something with very large openings, very large rooms, as well as possibly some tunnels. Anyone have any suggestions? What do you use for your large bun babies?? ? Any advice is appreciated.

Might I suggest you be creative? Try visiting your local staples or ups and pickup some large boxes and long ones to make tunnels. They have boxes of all kinds just make sure you use some quality masking biotape for safety! That’s how I made my forts and tunnels

Boxes boxes and more boxes. (Unglued, unstapled and not much ink on them)
I cut a buttsize hole in two of the sides (always two holes, one as an ’emergency exit’ lol).
Henry is not very bothered with them (throws them out of his way if cant be bothered to go around) but Zou spends ages going in and out, balancing them on her head, playing the snail when he bum gets stuck!!!
They both chew them alot. Its a vital part of our bunny enclosure.
And free too, from work !
Insides of carpets rolls from shops can sometimes have huge bobine holes making great freebie tunnels too !!
Don’t spend a fortune just yet on castles. They may not use them !!

The boxes that large appliances come in are very strong.

              Here is some inspiration –

BanditCamp – Great! I didn’t even think about like UPS or staples. Those are both really good ideas. And quality masking biotape?? I’m assuming that’s bun safe since your listing it ? That’s been my main worry is how would I get so many large boxes and how can I get them to stay together without any tape! Lol

Vienna – Ohmygosh! Carpet tunnels!!! That’s such a good idea! So smart. I know my female is a total box and tunnel lover, my male likes them to but not as much as Kahleigh (female). But she is such a chewer. So little box forts don’t last longer than 2 days. So free and cheap for her forts are the goal.

JerseyGirl- that is some inspiration! I think it worked. I have so many ideas now!

All in all, thank you guys for all the great ideas. I have an idea of what I need to do now ?
I can always count on the BB forum to get some Q’s answered.

Jellie – BanditCamp recommended a high quality masking bio tape ? I had the same concern.
