        Hi everyone,

I keep seeing ONE flea on my 3-month-old lop, Fiona’s, head. Nowhere else on her body, just her head. I can never seem to catch the guy… I check her out thoroughly and never see any other fleas or evidence of them. She has white fur so they are pretty easy to spot. Is it possible that she only has one flea? Or is it more likely that she has more and I just don’t see them? No other animals live with us. Should I get her a flea medicine?

He’s most likely In her ear, a flea comb will help but I would maybe suggest going to a Vet? In the meantime ensure that the area is sanitized (check net for ideas)

While possible, I wouldn’t think it likely. Fleas are tricky little buggers and can hide in the ears as well as the rabbit’s habitat.
You can purchase Ivermectin at feed stores, or Revolution for kittens. Do not use Frontline or any other Fipronil based product, as these are toxic to bunnies.

Make sure that you keep the room or rooms she is in well vacuumed. Fleas only stay on the animal part of the time, the other times they are in rugs, carpet, upholstered furniture, etc.
