My rabbit peed on his fleece and it didn’t soak through so it just sat on top of the fleece. Before I could wipe it up he went over a started licking it. Is this normal?
        Will this hurt him?

My rabbit has done this in the past. I told the vet and she didn’t seem worried. Told me to bring her back if she continues to do it regularly but suggested I give her a bowl of water as well as her bottle. Since having the bowl she hasn’t touched her pee. . . Or the bottle actually.

I think it’s fairly normal. On the few occasions that Apollo has peed outside the tray, often before I can get the cleaning supplies I catch him licking it up. It’s gross

No, I don’t think this isn’t anything to worry about. When Dorothy was first getting acclimated to our apartment, she once left a pee puddle on the floor and then started drinking it. Around this time she was having a lot of accidents outside of the litterbox even though she is litterbox trained and was having a lot of behavioral issues as well. I told some experts, and they were not concerned about the pee drinking at all. She never did it again, btw. I guess it was just a freak thing.
