We have two female house buns, Sassy a Holland Lop and Pepita a Netherland Dwarf. Both our girls are spayed. Sassy is… sassy. Pepita is much more easy going. Recently Pepita has been mounting Sassy backwards and as my daughter puts it, “Raping her face.” Is this something I should be worried about? I haven’t been able to find any info online about reverse mounting that involves two bonded and spayed females.

While Clover (the big bun) and Dawn (the dwarf bun) are great friends, every other day Dawn tries to dominate Clover by humping her head.  Clover good naturedly puts up with it (She’s not a normal rabbit, I swear she isn’t.) until she gets fed up and the flicks her head and Dawn away.

          This too shall pass.

You need to stop face mounting – Sassy could end up biting Pepita’s underbelly or genitalia area.
