        Hello!

My name is Gaby and I’m new here! I just got a bunny for the first time last week. I kept googling all sorts of odd questions and every search led me back to this forum with all this fantastic info – I think that might be a sign! Probably. I really needed an Emotional Support Animal, and a dog was just not an option. My mother joked about getting a rabbit and figured it couldn’t hurt to look into it. So I did! TA DA!

This is Pavus! (Named after Dorian Pavus… brownie points if you know who that is ) He’s a 9 week old French Lop. Not yet neutered! I’m making a vet appointment very soon. I intend for him to be completely free roaming once his training is all done! He is such a sweet boy – took 2 days for him to be comfortable enough to climb into my lap or shove his face into mine and demand pets. He loves baked banana chips, sleeping under my office chair while I’m using it(I guess he likes to live on the edge. Of course. &nbsp, taunting the cat and running around the room full speed like his bum is on fire.

I’m usually the “Adopt Don’t Shop” kind of person, but a lot of the older bucks that were local I didn’t feel could fit in my household AND be happy while getting the care they needed. So this little guy is from a very lovely local breeder!

It’s not my first rodeo with animals in general. I live in a house with busy people, all of us gamers, two terriers, an obnoxiously friendly cat, a bearded dragon and I breed hissing roaches. I’ve had Guinea Pigs spoiled silly, hamsters, fish and got every creature in this house to live harmoniously SOMEHOW!

So yeah… that was a mouthful. Hi! Thank you all for the wonderful information here~

Hi! Pavus looks like a sweetheart . That’s great that he is so comfortable with you, especially since he will be an ESA.

Welcome Welcome! Pavus sounds lovely and is oh so adorable.
I have guinea piggies and used to have hamsters. It would be so hard not to spoil them!
