Hi Humans, it’s Olly Rabbit here, as all humans should know us rabbits don’t like being picked up, we are cute and sweet, but no, its a bunny rule humans must follow, I don’t let Mummy pick me up, my veterinary nurse can, she does my pedicure and Manicure with her friend and Mummy waits outside for me because if she comes in with me I run around.

I get in my basket myself when going to the vets, but what if there is a danger? My Mummy wants to know what to do then? I know if the smoke alarm goes off to get in my basket and Mummy will tell me if everything is OK, but if ever Mummy tries to pick me up I pretend to be a glued loaf of bread on the floor, haha, no one can pick me up.

is there anything Mummy can do about this loaf of rabbit bread glued to the floor? When I do it Mummy calls me Hovis.

Would you get in your basket right away if she threw some treats in there?

Oh Luna, Olly gets in his basket as soon as he sees it or I point to it, but I worry in case there is a fire near his basket or something when I would need to pick him up in an extreme emergency.

Role-playing aside rabbits will flee to where they feel safest and it’s either a basket, hide house or their cage. My bandit runs to his cage or his kennel when scared or the nearest box fort
