As these sticks tell me anyway  I had the great fortune to stumble on some green (wet/living)  felled Ash timber in my local forest … Oh I know, I’ll feed it to my rabbit  Well, what’s left will make fine kindling. They were much appreciated as you can see. It always amazes me how strong such a little thing is. She loves flinging them and gnawing at them. This is a great option for avid chewers and re- decorators. Here is a list of safe wood https://www.thespruce.com/safe-wood…ts-1239351 if you want to try something like this. Take care all

I give Bam’s used apple twigs to my mum, she uses them as kindle.

I think it’s really good for them to gnaw on tree twigs. Both as an enriching activity and for dental wear. Thanks for the list!

Bam- I agree, it’s partly what they were built for. In fact, as I went through the wood a wild Rabbit crossed my path. In old times fallen branches were a food source for rabbits in winter.

BunnyFriends- no problem. I’m not sure as it’s almost extinct in th UK but yep, I wouldn’t feed cherry. Many seeds such as apple and cherry contain cyanide.
