        Hello!

I’m planning to spay the bunnies soon, and I was just wondering about what the right age for them to be spayed is. Also any other information about spaying (pros/cons etc.) and the benefits.

        Thanku

Generally 6 months for smaller reeds but they can be spayed sooner if the vet is confident that bunny is in good condition. My doe was spayed at 4 and a half months I think. In my opinion, there is no cons for spaying. All positives. The main one being it stops the risk of developing cancer in the reproductive system which is very common in young females.

The cancer and boys can be neutered as soon as testes drop. Girls watch for behavior nesting patterns like pulling fur from chest or territorial poops excessive bit 3 months to 4 months is good. Ask your vet for a pre fix exam

My vet told me has to older than 4 months. I just took my bunny for spay last week, she was almost 8 months. She was pooping everywhere all of sudden so it was time for me to do it.
