        I don’t know what happened. I had a cord protector on the computer, but when we looked at her again, she had chewed through the protector and was nipping at the wires! We are very lucky, because my brother almost burned himself because he saw a spark. She doesn’t seem hurt, since she is eating hay normally and stuff. But I didn’t think she would chew through it. How can I prevent this? I am keeping in her cage, I am scared to let her out. I said I need to expand her space, but my dad thinks it will take up space for things he could have other things he wants. What do I do? Should I buy more wooden toys?

          If there are cables around that she can reach, she’ll chew them! I learned the hard way when my bun ate the fridge’s cord…
          The things you can do are: 1) lift the computer high enough and plug it to a high up hole, do the same for any other appliance that could be chewed; 2) protect the cables/block the computer area with a wood or plexyglass box that you can make yourself; 3) use metal nets or other composable panels to ward off the areas that are dangerous for her; 4) make her a pen area where she will stay when no one is supervising (but even if you supervise it can be she finds a way to get mischievious, so bunny proofing the rooms she’s allowed would still be a thing);

            This is a case of needing to bunny proof a room.

            when you allow a bunny into a new area you need to bunny proof a room where cords are not exposed. the best way that I achieved this is using NIC (Neat Idea Shelf Cages) with some zip ties and bandit knows this is a no no zone.
