Okay, so since the supplier drama thing threatened the stock of our oxbow pellets, I’m thinking of buying bulk (the 25 lbs one). I’ll be mindful of expiration dates, etc, but is it generally a good idea to buy pellets in bulk? I think I’ll be separating the main container and the one I open daily.

Chito eats only two tablespoons per day, and generally the 4.5kg one will last 6 months-ish. So I’m… Kinda worried. Would this be a good thing to do?

I can’t see a problem with that, but could you not buy a few smaller packets at once…. and stock them ?

If not then make sure the packet bag is closed perfectly (against humidity etc) each time.
