Just a hypothetical, ( or not I suppose if I end up adopting a male that was a fighting g bunny. ) I read that by giving a male small amounts of raw meat, they can get bigger, more aggressive and anti social. Usually this is done for #_$$_#!!$ who illegally fight buns and breeding males. My question is, can this process be reversed? While I doubt the size would change, can restricting it’s diet to a normal bunny diet decrease meat induced aggression? Or is once they’re alphaed that’s permanently wired that way?

From what I can find on google, a rabbit eating meat, raw or cooked, wont “beef it up” so to speak. Meat can make a rabbit sick, but thats about it

Also, alpha =/= aggression/fighting bun/ect. The alpha bun is the leader bun, or dominant bun, in a bonded group

I agree, the only thing that meat will do to a rabbit is make it ill, they aren’t designed to digest it. On a proper diet a rabbit might be happier and healthier which may help the personality. If the rabbit has been used for fighting (I didn’t even know rabbit fighting was a thing) I doubt it would ever be a suitable candidate for bonding with another rabbit, however just because it is aggressive to other rabbits, doesn’t mean that is isn’t friendly to people.

I suspect also that a rabbit like that is unlikely to be neutered, and having him neutered would be the biggest game changer in terms of territorial aggression, and paired with the right rabbit, I personally believe almost any rabbit can have a bond-mate. It just has to be the right rabbit
