So my male flemmie loves his ionizing fan. It oscillates and takes all of the bad junk out of the air for him, but he seems to love it excessively. He will run up to it and binky, make a lap around the room and binky in front of his fan again. Anyone else’s bun have something funny that makes them sooo happy?? ?

Wick likes having his nose picked. It’s a reliable teeth-chatter-inducing activity for him. I clean and clear out his nostrils with a q-tip where I’ve twirled the cotton end to come to a point, and I stick it up his nostril. Like a surgeon, I have to excavate gross snot and boogies…. He loves it; most likely because it helps him breath better haha.

Wick… has your vet recommended this? I only ask because the mucous tissue in a bun’s nose is so extremely sensitive and fragile that even the cotton on a qtip can be abrasive. Have you tried moistening it first, perhaps?

I suppose in comparison it’s not really weird but both buns are obsessed with whatever my partner wears on his feet, but especially his slippers.

Hey Q8bunny – not vet recommended but vet knows and we’ve discussed. It only occurs when it’s too much for Wick to handle on his own, and the cotton is moistened and it’s done very gently without entering the entire nostril cavity!

I’m a little late to the party, but mine loves trap music. “Bunnies like quiet!” they said! “Try classical music!” they said! Nope. We binky to trap music. Who doesn’t love a good bass I guess?

Not sure if that’s odd but it seemed a little weird to me.
