Hi, I need advice on getting two baby bunnies. I currently have a baby Holland lop and I’m contemplating about getting another baby bunny so that she won’t be lonely. I’m planning to get a male. They’ll be a month apart. When should I be separating them?

It depends on how old they are. Once either is 3 months I would definitely have them separated, and keep them apart until both are spayed/neutered. Give them a month to heal after that, before starting the bonding process.

I have two baby Flemishes who are already hormonal and had to be separated at 11 weeks. They are even from the same litter.

Being from the same litter makes no difference – they’ll still try to mate when of age.

Seperate them by 12 weeks of age.
