        Hi All!
I have 2 giant Flemish buns who eat a LOT and leave a LOT of droppings. Cleaning a litterbox was a daily chore, so I came up with an easier alternative. Basically, I took a small (2’x2′) cage (from TSC) with a slide out litter pan and cut off the top and side. I then attached a hinged ramp so that my buns can hop up easily. They now hop onto the “platform” and do their business, eat a little hay from the manger and hop away.

In the slide out pan, I just place a disposable puppy pad every other day and toss the used one in the garbage. My life is 100% easier now! I’ve attached some pictures. If you’re interested in building one yourself, it only cost me $40 to build it and 25cents per pad. I took some pictures so you can see what it looks like

This is brilliant! And makes me grateful I only own one small Lionhead rabbit who leaves considerably less droppings and urine than two large Flemmies haha
