I found this product at a local pet store that claims to reduce shedding by up to 70%. I skimmed over the list of ingredients and tried googling individual ingredients to see what is bunny compatible. Unfortunately some of the less common ingredients have inconclusive answers. So I’m looking for other opinions.

        INGREDIENTS:

Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Primrose Oil, Fish Oil

Choline (from Lecithin Oil), Inositol (from Lecithin Oil), Phosphorous, Linoleic Acid (Essential Fatty Acid), Arachmadonic Acid (Essential Fatty Acid), Wheat Germ Oil, Lecithin

        Thanks in advance!

From what Im finding on google, 4 things you listed might be unsafe for rabbits:

Some types of primrose oil seems to be safe, but some types seem to be toxic.
Fish oil seems to be used in a lot of rabbit repellent.
Adding too much Phosphorous to a bunny’s diet might cause dental problems.
Arachidonic Acid is listed as unsafe for cosmetics tested on rabbits; rabbits tested with Arachidonic Acid in cosmetics died.

Shedding is how rabbits naturally grow and get rid of their beautiful coats. It helps regulate temperature and is very important. I would be wary or suspicious of any drug or food that would inhibit their natural ability. Take the time and groom and love your bun
