I currently have 2 bunnies both the same age, around 2 and half. I have a friend who can’t afford her bunny anymore and I am thinking about taking her in. I already knew I wanted a third so that’s not the problem. Would it be harder to bond two older 2 year old rabbits to another one about a the same age? Or should I just get a young one at the rescue after Easter?

Well, it depends. How old is her rabbit, is it spayed/neutered, is it of a species of the same size, it it used to other rabbits, etc… It all has to do with that. If you give more info, I’d be able to help!

Her bunny is a mini lop and mine are mini Rexes. The lop is getting neutered in about a week or so and my bunnies will be spayed soon but my vet is currently booked. And the lop has never lived with other bunnies but is very friendly with her cat.
