Both of my bunnies currently have really gurgling tummies. They are acting normal, just finished up a plate of veggies and have both pooped in the last 5 minutes. I’ve tried hiving them simethicone on food items but they’re not taking it. I’m here on my own and can’t physically catch them, restrain them and administer it directly into their mouth. What can I do? Encourage movement?

Encourage movement to be on the safe side. Maybe do some tummy massages if they lay down.

Thankfully they’re both very active. I’ve sat in the kitchen with some dandelion to get them to run from the other side of the  (small) house, I figured any movement I can encourage, the better. I also opened the stair gate to allow Buttercup upstairs (Peanut won’t go upstairs yet) which I wasn’t going to do tonight just on the off chance Peanut does venture up there as I think it’ll take a lot of coaxing to get him down which normally would be okay but I’ve got to pick my boyfriend up from work in a couple hours. Anyway, both buns have ran around and binkied a little and of course devoured the dandelion. I haven’t heard any more loud gurgles! Some quiet ones but the frequency is decreasing. Phew!
