I was just going through my bunny first aid box to check expiry dates and make a list of things I need to replace and I noticed the box of baby ovol drops I bought a while ago (and never used) was expired.

Upon closer inspection… I noticed one of the ingredients on the box was hydrogen peroxide. From what I understand and from the research I have done, hydrogen peroxide should not be ingested…?

I initially bought it because I read infant gas relief drops were an essential and the brand ovol was recommended and safe for rabbits.

Does anyone else use ovol? Does yours also list hydrogen peroxide as an ingredient? And have you used it with no ill effects?

I just buy the store-brand simethicone from whatever store sells it, but hydrogen peroxide is not under the list of inactive ingredients.

I use the ones WalMart sells because they are cheap. Jet was a very gassy bunny and he took lots of that brand with no problem.
