I’m not sure if this megazorb bedding is safe for rabbits? It says it’s scented with lemon teatree oil  If it’s not safe I’d love some cheap bedding suggestions, thanks!

I know that a lot of wood shaving blessings can cause respiratory problems in bunnies, so I would be hesitant to try it. I use corn cob bedding with mine. I love it, but I go through a lot. I have two bunnies, so that’s two cages to clean. I go through about an $8 bag a week. It’s absorbent and easy to clean up. I don’t like that because it’s so small it gets EVERYWHERE. I also don’t like the smell of it. But I did find a cage cleaner/deodorizer at Petsmart. Kay tee also makes a cage cleaner

I believe you can get megazorb unscented, I would go for that instead of the scented one. It is a safe bedding though, lots of people use it for small animals.

You can also use recycled paper pellets (eg Yesterday’s News) and wood pellet litter (wood pellet cat litter, wood stove pellets without accelerants or horse stall bedding brands) The wood pellet litter is cheapest as the wood stove pellets and horse stall bedding rather than the cat litter.
