Hello everyone! I wanted to know of anyone has knowledge on stray white hairs growing on a rabbit? I tried a preliminary internet search, but all results spoke about disqualification in rabbit shows and broken breeds… Which I don’t care about. I just want to know what it may mean, it’s cause, and if it’s something I need to worry about.

Wick is a black Netherland (not otter, but straight black). He has always had very clear White markings that stayed put, but when grooming him today I noticed a lot of stray white hairs on his back m. He’s always had a small tuft of white hair on the center of his head, and it may be worth mentioning I think he’s molting now because he’s shedding a lot of fur. He’s about 5mo old!

My Peanut used to have a little triangular patch of brown hair on his head (he’s otherwise all black apart from the bottom of his feet) It was so cute but he’s moulting and the brown patch has gone now I have noticed over the last couple of days that he has some random white/grey hairs. I wouldn’t worry, it’s not unusual for young bun’s fur to change colour a little. My Peanut is almost 8 months
