Hello, I’m wondering what kind of mat I should use for my bunny’s habitat (aka my kitchen).

Currently I have a few towels and blankets down for her to sit on, but I wanted to give her more of an area to roam without hurting her hocks (they are bald and a bit red).

Last week I put a yoga mat down and she loved that, but today there was a mess off chunks torn off it!  I’m just worried she might ingest pieces of it so I removed the mat.

What other options are there for a nice spongey, cushiony floor that cant be ripped to pieces?

Memory foam is excellent, just cover it with fleece or a sheet so it isn’t chewn/ingested. Would recommend for sore hocks ^^

Those puzzle pieces that interlock & can be used for baby play pens seem like they would be fitting, I’ve seen it used at some rabbit rescues, and the slight give to the flooring would likely help her sore hocks!

Yes, memory foam or the foam puzzle mats and then just cover them with a fleece so that she can’t chew the mats.
