Went to the bar with my boyfriend and won $600 !!! Now I’m gonna use it to pay for my boys neutering and a cage expansion and some new toys and stuff.

Any ideas on what I should buy for him?

What a lucky bun! How about…a cardboard castle?

You can buy yourself something and keep the box for them instead, haha!

How’s that for luck aye! How about a cardboard castle or a cat scratcher thingy for them to climb on? When they’ve healed of course! Or some nice fleece blankets.

Great ideas guys! Thanks! Actually forgot I posted this as I was a bit tipsy

I had not thought of a cardboard castle yet, don’t think I’d even heard of them. They look like something my bun would thoroughly enjoy! He loves climbing and hiding.

I definitely drunk ordered all the stuff in my amazon bunny list lol

                      Which includes a tunnel!

I also just happened to see on the Reddit Rabbit sub that there were 107 buns rescued from a hoarding situation in Vancouver, WA that are now in the humane society. They aren’t able to house that many buns so they’re doing a mass adoption and I think I might go pick one up.

It’s earlier than I wanted, but they really need good homes for these buns, and I think I can make it work space wise.

I’m thinking I’ll just build another Bun house from NIC cubes and keep them close but separate until Sterling is neutered and recovered.

                      Am I crazy?

That depends, are you still tipsy?

If you have the means, and the time and are ready to bring another bunny on, by all means adopt one. But don’t rush yourself into it.

                          Azerane – LOL!

Jellie – You’re not crazy. I think we all would get more buns if we could. As Azerane said, if you’re willing and able, and if you think your current bun would approve .

It’s okay, Jellie. If I can drunk-buy a ferret, you can drunk-adopt a bunny! Much better choice, too…

Thanks guys! You all gave me a good laugh I didn’t Drunk adopt, just shop online. I’m meeting with a lady from bunnies in baskets Saturday and I’m very excited. I’m going to help with the pet a bunny event and I’m hoping to get some good info from the people there.

She said I could bring my Sterling in and that he could have a play date with some other buns. I’m hoping she can tell me if he would do well with a bunny wife, and if he has the temperament to start training to be a therapy bun!

Does anyone here have any experience with the bunnies in baskets program? Or with therapy bunnies? I’m very excited to get involved and help out.

You can message BB member “Bladesmith” – his bun Clover is a therapy bun in training .
