I’ve mentioned this a couple times in replies to other posts, but I have two free range buns. They’re around nine months old, and haven’t had any accidents for the past several months. Since probably November. Out of nowhere the other week, they just… stopped using their litter box. I mean, I guess they still use it, but now they use everywhere else too, as if thy hadn’t learned it at all. They’ve been popping with literally every couple steps like back before they were litter trained. I attributed this to me not being home as often, but now I’ve been home just the same as before for two weeks and they’re still doing this. What gives, do you think? They still love me and crave my attention. What should I try? I put them back in their old cage with a litterbox to see if it’d help (it hasn’t so far.)

Hmmm. Wait. I changed their litter a bit ago. Would that make a difference?

I use a small bit of litter from the previous box so the smell is the same. Also are they fixed? Male/female? This can answer slit of questions especially since spring is here and you know territory stuff. Also have they been bonded or have been near eachother since you got them?

I second the question of asking if they are spayed/neutered.

They’re both fixed. One is a boy, the other girl

They’ve been bonded since October and are always together
