Just Monday my 3 indoor rabbits-2 male 1 female ALL FIXED started mounting the female. She is mounting them too but the 2 boys are fighting terribly. I currently have them separated. But when I try putting them all together again like normal the fighting starts. Is it the time of year? Something in the spring air? These are bunnies that have been together for well over a year. Going on 2. They have the run of the house all day every day while we are at work. I’m devastated!! What is going on?? Help!!

I would separate them sounds like the bonding came undone for some reason did you change their habitat? Sleeping situation? Anything you think might entice a pattern?

We didn’t change anything. That’s why I’m thinking it might be hormones. I hate having them separated. I do now but just makes me sad. And they sniff each other through the gate and lay against it.

If they go after one another with no want to stop, I agree it sounds more like something in their area changed or set them off to the point they feel their hierarchy is being challenged
