My bunny isn’t neutered and he is pissing everywhere on the couch…
but then I’m wondering he might piss on me?! Can this happen? Did one of your bunnies ever pissed on you?!
That wouldn’t be fun at all x’D
And he also started suddenly to smell like a bloody skunk today!
Can a simple neutering solve this problem?
        Thank you!

Neutering will help with the smell and it will make him less inclined to pee everywhere. You should block him from accessing the couch though, from now until about two weeks after the neuter. Sometimes neutered rabbits still want to pee on couches and beds though, because they are soft and have a lot of your scent on them.

A rabbit might very well pee on their human. It’s part of the bunny mating-ritual and not at all an insult, rather a declaration of love.

My little boy bun peed on me once. He was only about 3-4 months old. It happens. It’s really not a big deal tbh. If your bun is spraying then yes it should improve after his hormones have settled from neutering (he should be getting neutered anyway…) If he’s not spraying and is simply ‘having accidents’ he will need (re?)training, or it could even be a UTI.

All three of my buns have marked me atleast once. Its not as bad as it seems since its easy to wash off with a quick shower But yea, neutering should help unless there is a hidden medical issue

Thanks sooo much for your help! We will definitely have him neutered as fast as possible ? And while we’re at it… can a bunny piss on you even if he’s neutered and has no infections or peeing problems?! I’m worried a bit about my clothes… xD

Well yeah. Sometimes young bunnies have accidents (like people…) I don’t know why it’s a big deal? Clothes can be washed.

It’s not very common for neutered bunnies to pee on humans unless it’s by accident. You could perhaps wear clothes you don’t care so much about when you have him in your lap (for nail clipping and other necessary procedures).

My Bombur has hormone flares often even though he is neutered in which he will mark the floor and anything on it with either a bit of pee or a few poops
